James Patterson: Innocent Writer or Crazy Person?

I cannot BELIEVE the ending of Fang. I mean, yeah, it was really new for that series, but the whole "this may be the last time you see me again" rings one two many bells. He might as well have had Fang move to southern Canada. :P
