There we go!

I think this page design oughta do it. I like it much better than the other ones I've tried- and all it took was changing one color!
I totally overlooked this quote from the Maximum Ride book The Final Warning most of the times I've read it, but I noticed it this morning... "I missed the old days, when our only relationship was each being totally dedicated to constantly one-upping the other." LOL.

Another Change

For some reason, I can't seem to find a blog template that fits my personal sense of style. Now, if I could just figure out how to put a picture as the background, I'd be all set. If anyone knows how to do that, drop me a line.

*runs away screaming from Max-Dan-Wiz*

Have you people seen what changes they've made to the Maximum Ride site! There's these pictures of people who are supposedly Max and Fang, and there's no way to get rid of them, and they WATCH you the WHOLE time you're on the site, I swear! It's creepy!

Cent-post-ennial!

This is my blog's 100th post! Woot! Since this seems like a good time, allow me to give thanks where thanks are due.
Thanks to my mom, for letting me start up this blog in the first place.
Thanks to Viacom, for supplying such a great name for this thing.
Thanks to Nikki and Nicole (I'm pretty sure you're two different people but I'm just not sure) for following my blog even though I have no idea who you are.
And, of course, thanks to TBWAOCAULN for being the best friends a girl could ask for!

Turning Stress Into Fun!

I have decided that Valentines' Day is most likely just as stressful for us "tweens" as Christmas is for adults.
But that doesn't mean we can't get into the Valentines' Day spirit! I mean, what's wrong with generic "everybody gets pretty much the same thing" valentines that you buy at Wal-Mart? Or how about those conversation heart thingies (preferably the original ones, thanks)? Or that kitschy tissue paper heart thing that I got in fourth grade and is now languishing in my closet?
What I'm trying to say is, what is stressful can also be fun.

The Dance Of Doom

Some of you may know what I'm talking about when I say "dance of doom." I mean the Valentines Dance at our school. Usually that doesn't mean anything much, but I think that this year it does. We have to face up to the fact that we are growing up. And growing up means maturing. What I'm trying to say here is that any one of us could get asked to the dance (hopefully NOT by someone of our own gender). We need to be prepared for anything!

The Wettening?

I had my own version of "the wettening" yesterday. No, I did not get hit with a giant water balloon. Actually, my dog peed on my backpack, or at least tried to. He has horrible aim.

My Very Own Fail.

My little sister spotted this, and I came up with the idea to make it into a Fail. I think it's pretty good, personally.

Aaiieeee!

I JUST WON THE SCHOOL SPELLING BEE. It was the most nerve-racking thing I've ever done in my life. And now I'm going to have to do it all over again, and this time with a bunch of complete strangers from schools all around the county. We'll see how that goes.

The "Norm"

What is normal at the TBWAOCAULN house...
~Mixx is up in her room inventing something
~Little Bunny Foo-Foo is watching television
~I am on the computer
~3-D is either reading or listening to music, or both
~LOL is trying to get LBFF to change the channel
~Piper is skipping around singing random songs she wrote herself.
Did I miss anything?

Music, music, music

Well, I guess I haven't mentioned this on my blog before (at least I don't think so) but I am, like, addicted to my iPod. I normally change favorite songs once a month or so. Right now, I'm trying to find the right version of "Somebody's Watching Me" on iTunes, but I can only seem to find 80's dance and kareoke versions. Stupid hippie 80's people. They ruin a good song.

Buzzzz...

Spelling bee! Since I didn't miss a single word on the classroom spelling bee, I get to move on to the school spelling bee! It's happy :) except for the fact that I have to miss some of PACE to be there. :(
Also, I got attacked by a cat today. I mean, that cat didn't mean to hurt me, but it didn't want to get off of my lap, so it dug its claws in. Ouchie. So, now my Little Bunny Foo-Foo scratch free jeans have cat claw puncture marks on them. Great.

The Latest- remake

Okay, I must've gotten a few things mixed up. Let's try that entry again.
Well, my dad might be moving out of the house. My mom is going to bring it up this evening, when exactly I don't know. Hopefully not during dinner. I thought he'd moved out, but he was actually going to a meeting.
Also, if you know what my dad looks like, whenever you see a white van, peek into the window. If you see my dad sitting in there, tell me! I need to know.

The Latest

The latest is that my dad has moved out of the house. That's right, my dad has moved o-u-t of the house. But I still will have to go stay at his apartment on Friday nights, I think. Not sure how I feel about that. I wonder if he knows how to find my blog...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

And snow, and snow, and snow, and snow, so we don't have school tomorrow... and so I can go play in it tomorrow...
And, by the way, if you go onto www.maximumride.com and search Jadis, you shall find me, and on my blog there is the beginning of the first TBWAOCAULN book- Seventeen Forever! Read it or die.

Eleven

I said "details at 11," so here's eleven. Long story short, my parents are splitting up. There- I put it out there. My mom gets to keep the house, so my dad will be moving out at some point, but I don't know when. But right now, it's really awkward. He keeps acting like everything's normal, when it so isn't. Who knew family life could be this weird?

*bangs self on head for not thinking of this earlier*

I totally forgot that when I asked for feedback as to what I should name my blog, that meant I would have to choose, and if I don't get much feedback, and none of them sound like something I would name a blog (not that I'm insinuating anything here, I'm speaking hypothetically) then I would probably come up with a name that I like better and that would shoot the whole "feedback" thing... snap. So... here's what I'll do. I'll make a poll. You've probably already seen it at the top of the screen. Two are feedback, one is one I made up myself. You be the jury!

edit- you know what? to heck with user feedback. I'm just going to choose a name. sorry, guys.

Greetings from 3-D's house!

Well, current events (details at 11) have led me to be at 3-D's house for a while. HI!!!!!! <- That was 3-D. While here, I was reminded of a certain poster that Mixx made, with me with my contacts drying out... I still haven't technically forgiven you for that yet, my blue-haired friend. I mean, my contacts never dry out, unless I leave them in all night or something. Or if I go swimming in them. Not a good scene.

Well, now that I am done rambling, that is all.

I've Been Thinking...

Well, I'm beginning to think that my blog needs a new title. I mean, it's a new year, and the old title just ain't cutting it. So... I need ideas! What should I name my blog?
In other news, I am going to Kalahari on Sunday with at least my mom and little sister. It is unknown wether my dad is going. (Party pooper...)
All for now,

MEH

My photo
Nowheresville, Ohio, United States
Hahaha, holy shit, it's been a long time since I've even looked at my Blogger account. Yeah ok, hi, my name's Lydia. I'm a teenager, I live in the USA, and I'm genderfluid, so call me what you wish, gender-wise. I freakin' love the webcomic Homestuck, so that's probably gonna be... a lot of what I'm blogging about, if at all. I also like drawing, listening to music, and playing with my cats.
