The Chronicles of Vladmir Tod

I finished reading the first book of the Chronicles of Vladmir Tod today. It's really good, if you don't count the different take on vampires. Also, if any really new vampires are thinking about reading it... don't. Or chaos will ensue upon the face of Planet Earth. Heather Brewer (the author) seems to have similar descriptive interests to Ethan. A.k.a. rather gross at some points. So if you're squeamish, don't read it either. Still, I highly recommend it.

Another Example of my little sister's insanity

Well, my little sister has taken to turning a whole bunch of our Miis on the Wii into FanGirls. I am now disturbed for life, thanks a lot. Also, I have changed the background thingy of my blog because I didn't like the earlier one.

So... The family Christmas gathering was loads of fun, I got a recording mike for my computer, and had some fun on my aunt and uncle's WiiFit. Unfortunately, I apparently had a little *too* much fun with the WiiFit, because this morning my lower legs were crazy sore, so I now have to stumble around the house like a drunk monkey. Woo.

Christmas = Awesomeness

Christmas is totally awesome. There's no doubt about that. (Especially the presents...) This year, my favorite present was probably either the Maximum Ride series or MySims Agents. Reminiscences

I'm now going to take a moment to remember when I first started this blog on September 26, 2009. It's been around three months, and look how far it's gone! From a low-key blog with one follower to something really awesome with three followers and even more frequent readers! And then there's the TBWAOCAULN blog, "We Live In A House In Outer Space." Five followers! I am amazed how well this has all turned out. I am now going to copy and paste my very first blog entry into this post...

"I don't even think anyone will read this blog, as I have a friend who has had a blog longer than I have and she doesn't have any comments except for one I just put there. So, sup. My name's Jadis. Cyberspace is pretty much the only place where I'm terribly talkative. Re: Mass chaos! AAAAAAA

Allow me to explain the earlier post. At the band concert, the lights were off and the doors were closed. Normally, this would be fine. But, there were two vampires (3-D and I) sitting in the audience with 300 distracted humans and an easy escape- the smoke vents. Get the picture?

Well, this morning I had just woken up- I mean, gotten home at, like, 7:00 or something, the sun wasn't even up yet (don't you just love winter?), and I was bored. So... guess what I decided to do. I got out my IPod and listened to Dare 4 1/2 times nonstop! Now I am pretty much sick of that song and will not listen to it for the next month or so, but, you know, I think it was worth it. It certainly helped pass the time.

Angel- One Scary Little Kid

Those of you familiar with Maximum Ride and the Flock know about Angel, the mind-reading, mind-controlling, changes her appearance, breathes underwater, talks to fish, prophet seven year old with wings. Sooo... yeah. Max describes her as "two parts sweet blond cherub, two parts unholy demon, and two parts something unmentionable but [pretty darn scary]." Max also said that she "has the decision-making skills of your average rabid squirrel" or something like that. And so... that's Angel for ya. The picture below shows Angel holding the teddy bear she controlled someone's mind to get.

The moment of truth isn't here yet.

I don't think I'm gonna survive until March 15- the day when the next Maxmum Ride book comes out. I mean, I'll probably read the excerpt in the Manga 75 times, and be relatively okay, but still, four and a half months is a long time. I guess I'll just have to settle for the manga until it does come out, then read the 6th book as fast as I can to FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS, GOSH DARN IT!

I can't seem to get those drawings on! Maybe it's because I scanned them. Anyway, I can send them to anyone who wants to see them- I've already sent them to 3-D and Mixx, because they were some of the people I drew. The other person is me. I think we all look pretty awesome. Trick or treating was really fun last night. Only problem was, no one could seem to tell what 3-D was supposed to be (despite you-know-what)! They would be like, "Oh, here's a ninja, and here's..." then they'd hesitate, as if they were trying to figure out her costume, then they'd decide to skip her and said, "And here's a Twister! Wonderful costumes!" 3-D got so mad. But then we went home and watched Invader Zim stuff until her mom got here.

Happy halloween!

I like halloween. except for all the corny vampire costumes and fake you-know-what. I am going as a Twister game, and 3-D's coming over to my house so we can go trick-or-treating together! yay! By the way, 3-D, if you can't figure out a costume in time, you can always wear dark clothes and fake fangs and go with it from there. Or, I can get you a "person in the shower" costume. And if that's not incentive to find a costume fast, I don't know what is.

I have started TBWAOCAULN book three! I have no idea for it's name yet. I am also still thinking about the plot. So basically, I'm stumped. Any ideas? I'll see if I can work them in. So far, I have me worrying about the whole "some members of TBWAOCAULN are immortal and some aren't what are we going to do" thing. Also, I'm sitting on the couch watching inane television. So if anyone knows how I can build off of that, let me know.

More on the TBWAOCAULN Book

I'm almost finished! SO CLOSE! All I have to do is the part when Mixx is like, "thank God!" and the part where 3-D wakes up and we can go from there in the sequel. And, poor Little Bunny Foo-Foo had to go without carrots in the pot roast that night for obvious reasons. Sorry, Bunny. It was kinda funny though. I know! How about it ends with us realizing that as well as a new vampire, we will have a crazy werebunny on our hands because it's a full moon night? That would be good fodder for the sequel!

I am writing a book about TBWAOCAULN! But, since the members of TBWAOCAULN are real people, I cannot make up what they do. So, I will have to ask some questions. I will send them to the members by email. I have an idea for a climax, but I have no idea how it will end. Also, I should have enough by maybe the end of the week to provide an excerpt. Meet Big Maizey

Maizey- the dog next door. Big Maizey- Her big brother. I don't know his name, so I call him "Big Maizey." They have two very different fighting styles which depend on their strengths and weaknesses. Maizey is fast and the smaller of the two, but when push comes to shove, her brother will often knock her over with his superior strength. She's also stubborn- once she's got him on the ground, he's not gonna be allowed to get up any time soon. Big Maizey mostly depends on his strength and size. When he was trapped on the ground by his sister, he locked his front legs around her neck and brought her down too so he could get up.

Another difference between the two is how they react to a human who is speaking dog. Maizey almost immediately accepted that, hey, I speak dog so I must be a dog. Big Maizey thought so too, but instead of mimicking my movements and accepting my invitation to play as Maizey often does, he barked back at me, as if saying, "you are a strange human."

It is hilarious to see them lock jaws and try to get the better of one another by twisting their heads. Although, when you see flashing white teeth and hear snarls, you can't help but wonder of they're actually hurting each other.

YAAH! my little sister has a whoopie cushion! I'll never sit down again! AAAAAAAAAAH! She keeps blasting it in my ear! Although, it was pretty funny when she put it under Dad's chair cushion. He FREAKED OuT.

ICS Report

Okay, the Ice Cream Social was better than I had hoped for! First, I picked up LOL, then we went to school. Then we waited in the lobby for Mixxiex, who found us eventually. At six, we went down to the cafeteria to eat what I think is the most delicious meal ever- a chicken sandwich and a Dr. Pepper. That was, like, the second time I've ever had Dr. Pepper. It filled me with bubbles for the rest of the night. And caffeine. 3-D caught up with us in the middle of our meal, and as soon as we were done eating, we hit the games! Mixxiex was having a hard time of it because she could not win anything, no matter how she tried! Even when 3-D tried to win her something, they got nothin'! So finally she got a plastic combination lock which despite its cheapness actually worked! She also eventually got a frisbee thing. Then we went to get dessert. Actually, two. First, I had this coconut brownie thing. Then I had blackberry pie. I mixed some pie filling into my ice cream and it was awesome!

Perhaps the most hilarious (and anticlimactic) part of the night was when a bunch of boys pooled their money and put around 40 tickets in the raffle for the Ohio State basket with Trent Hinton's name on them! Yet somehow, he didn't win. Whatever. It was funny while it lasted. And, you may be wondering about the picture. That's me, all exhausted (I seemed to have run out of caffeine) with TBWAOCAULN painted on my face! Thanks, Alex for doing that for 3-D and me. That was awesome!

Yaaay! the Ice Cream Social!

The Conneaut Ice Cream Social is tonight! TBWAOCAULN (except for Piper and LBFF) will be meeting up and partying! OH YEAH! This is our last Social as students of Conneaut, so we're going out with a BANG, baby! Also, I just played dodgeball, my favorite passtime. This is the most AWESOME day!

Revelations of Pre-Teen Mutant-ish people.

I am sitting here being bored. I don't have my contacts in, so everything more than five feet away from me is a blur. My little sister has decided to watch Scooby Doo, a show she knows I don't like. 3-D was stuck dodging the sun all day today, I kinda acted as her human sunshade, ya know with the wings and all. Although LOL would probably be better for the job, 'cause, you know, she has a 17-foot wingspan, and mine is only twelve. Who knows why. I feel like cracking up now, so I think I'll watch some of Lilly's videos on YouTube. See ya!

Gazzy and Iggy vs. the U.S. Navy

So, in book 5 of Maximum Ride, the flock has to take a Basic Survival course in order to work with the U.S. Navy for a reason I will not say. In the Weapons Use class, Gazzy and Iggy totally show up the instructor...

Instructor- This better be good, son.

Gazzy- That model's a good gun and all, but I've heard it can jam up something awful. Some people think it's a weird finish on the barrel. And it's really heavy, like, bowling ball heavy. And the trigger is too far forward, even for someone with big hands.

Instuctor- ***

Gazzy- It's a pretty neat gun, though. And did you know that if you stick the spring from a clothespin under the safety when it's in right hand mode then pull the trigger, it'll explode 2.9 seconds later? I mean, throw it first.

Iggy- Sometimes it's 2.7 seconds. Don't dawdle. And have you ever tried that with the barrel full of spam?

Hi, I had the most awesome day today. I am now the Shaman for a caveman tribe, and I have wings, and I have a pet scottie, and I live in a mansion with all of my friends. One of them's a werebunny, three of them are vampires, and one has the Random Sayings Disease (still yet to be named). So, stuff. Also, I love the phrase "multi-culti propaganda." Thank you, James Patterson. So, watch out if you are bleeding profusely or if it is a full moon or if you are a grizzly bear or polar bear who lives in Canada.

My friends are vampires.

My friends are vampires. Then again, I am too. I just think 3-D's been reading too much Twilight. She makes, like, 10 references to it every day! Like, to be a vampire for halloween she would need to do something to her eyes to make them black. And stuff about biting people. I haven't even read that series so I have almost no idea what she's talking about sometimes. Other than the fact that it's about vampires. And Twilight.

Lydia Literacy

I am writing a book! It's called Duskies at Dawn. I have no idea if there will be a sequel or what, since I'm only on chapter 6 or something. Here's a summary:

-A young Dusky Dolphin named Linna meets a young orca named Flinn. Linna tries to take Flinn to meet her parents, but it turns out that there is strong prejudice against orcas in dusky territory. When Flinn tries to bring Linna to his family, they are menaced by a sinister orca from a separate clan. So Flinn and Linna are on the run, unbeknownst to the fact that both of their species are in great danger from the evil Lord of Ship's Rest! Can they find out about this problem and bring the two species together in time to save their home?
